» The 1st concessionary Snowboardschool in Salzburg!
Our snowboardschool was established in 1989. Therefore we are the specialists for snowboarding since the first hour!
Our highest concern is fun for you in the snow and efficient learning in a safe way! As we are specialised in snowboarding only, we offer the best conditions:

  • Small groups
  • examined and specially trained instructor
  • and perfect rental equipment

  • Small groups: 3 or 4 to maximum 8 persons!
  • Qualified and special trained Snowboard instructors
  • More benefit: 3 hours of instruction per day (half-day lessons)!
  • Best serviced Rental equipment, mostly from BURTON, NITRO & LIB TECH/GNU
  • Cheap package deals: Lesson + Board + Boots!
  • Course programme for every snowboarding level (Kids, beginner, advanced, freestyle, ...)
In the lessons our motto is “No Risk but Fun”- which means that we focus on safety and fun. We achieve efficient learning by using a learner-oriented teaching-concept plus our optimized school-internal teaching methods.

Over the past years the lessons for advanced boarders and the freesytle lessons got more and more popular. For this reason we largely extended our course programmeThe LTR (Learn To Ride) SNOW PARK in Saalbach ath the Bernkogel offers an ideal training area for freestyle beginners.

Because of this new concept for freestyle lessons we are now also a BURTON LTR FREESTYLE SCHOOL.

  • BASIC lessons for beginners
  • YOUNG BOARDER ZONE: whole day lessons for children with lunch care
  • PERFECTION: continuation lessons (improvement of technique) for intermediate and advanced boarders
  • FREESTYLE LESSONS: Burton LTR Freestyle School
  • FREERIDE LESSONS and BACKCOUNTRY Guiding
  • PRIVATE LESSONS: also for advanced boarders, freestyle, freeride and guiding
  • Specials: Tandem-snowboarding, race/carving
to course programme: Saalbach & Hinterglemm |Leogang

We are looking forward to some cool days on board with you in SaalbachHinterglemm or Leogang.

My second home

When i go back to board.at i come home.

I've been working hear for 5 years and i still like to come back. The pistes are good and when you know where to there's a lot off "off" piste to be schredded!

The school is made for and by snowboarders. Mostly everybody is relaxed and is just there to have a good time. But ind the high season there can be a lot of stress.

The school is small and so are te groups. Board.at focusses on bringing snowboaring to a higher level. The lessons have to be fun for everybody (also the teacher).

When you want to learn snowboarding, board.at is the school for you. When you want to earn money and have a lot of spare time, look for something else.

Pure & Passionate Snowboard School

Board.at (formerly called: 1. Snowboardschule Saalbach)

It is a pure and snowboard only school, this makes it WAY different from most ski & snowboard schools.

It has a laid back atmosphere, with a passionate team.
The owner is close to the team, which makes it a nice and flat organisation.
(He can improve some of his social skills)

Pros:
- weakly mandatory training (more often in beginning of season)
- no skiers
- "oldies" coming back to inspire "newbies"
- area has everything
- small team (max 30 ppl) feels like family
- has its own teaching program (every year a discussion on how to improve it)

Cons:
- team divided over 3 towns (Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leagang)
- owner social skills
- low pay

Drop me a note if you have any questions :)

Cheers,
Paul
